Biochem/physiol Actions
GSDMD (gasdermin D) belongs to gasdermin family of proteins. These proteins have been suggested to function in the regulation of epithelial apoptosis. GSDMD is expressed in differentiating cells. It may act as a tumor suppressor.[1]
