Stability : | The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20oC. Frozen aliquots are stable for at least six weeks at 2-8oC or for at least six months at -20oC. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |
Reconstitution: | Centrifuge vial prior to opening. Reconstitute in sterile water to a concentration of 1.0 mg/ml. |

Neutralization | To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of hMCP-4 (100 ng/ml), a concentration of 0.8-1.0 μg/ml of this antibody is required. |
Elisa | In a sandwich ELISA (assuming 100μl/well), a concentration of 2.0-4.0 μg/ml of this antibody will detect at least 100 pg/ml of recombinant human MCP-4 when used with PeproTechs biotinylated antigen affinity purified anti-human MCP-4 (500-P04GBt) as the detection antibody at a concentration of approximately 0.5-1.0 μg/ml. |
Western Blot | To detect hMCP-4 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 0.20-0.40 μg/ml. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hMCP-4 is 2.0-4.0 ng/lane, under non-reducing conditions. |
